Finding Cures, Saving Lives

Since St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® opened its doors in 1962, it has changed the way the world and treats pediatric cancer. Shaw and our retail partners are strong supporters of the organization’s mission to improve the overall childhood cancer survival rate - donating more than $12 million since 2012.

St. Jude is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center solely devoted to kids. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

The Kindest Heart

Longtime supporter and our own St. Jude Hero, Scott Sandlin, Shaw Senior Vice President, just ran his fourth St. Jude Memphis Marathon in support of its life-saving mission. A model of inclusive leadership and competitive spirit, Scott took his fundraising commitment to new levels this year with an open invitation to the sales team and customers to participate in the greater Shaw team. More than 50 associates, family members and customers traveled to Memphis for the emotional and celebratory event. The team had a great race weekend knowing all of their hard work is making a difference in children’s lives every day. The group has raised more than $300,000 since 2013.

Together We Can Do More

Join Shaw and St. Jude in the fight to end childhood cancer when you purchase from the Shaw Cushion Collection for St. Jude. This collection features six cushion products which offer exceptional quality, comfort and durability. A portion of the sales from these products goes back to the research hospital. With the support of participating retailers, your cushion purchase will help improve the survival rate of childhood cancer.
Your purchase from Clean for a Cause will also aid in the fight for a cure. Our Hard Surface Cleaner and Carpet Cleaner donate $0.25 per bottle and our mop kit donates $0.50 with each purchase that goes directly to St. Jude. Clean never felt so good.
